Highfield Veterinary Nurses

Louise Chappell - RVN Dip AVN - Senior Nurse

Louise qualified as a Veterinary Nurse in February 2007. During this time she has packed a lot of experience into her years as a nurse working in first opinion, referral and emergency clinics. Before moving to Highfield Vets she was working for the PDSA in Sheffield. Louise has recently achieved her advanced diploma in surgical nursing as well as being responsible for the training of our student nurses. Louise is originally from Dewsbury but has recently moved to Sheffield so is seeing a lot less of the M1 now. She has two cats, a dog named Phoebe and a crazy dog called Connie who enjoys spending her days supervising us all at work.

Cheryl Kelly - RVN

Cheryl joined the practice back in 2004. Once Highfield Vets became a training practice Cheryl was eager to commence her training. After 2 and a half years of exams and practical assessments Cheryl’s hard work passed off and she is now a qualified Veterinary Nurse, the first of hopefully many at Highfield Vets. Cheryl has a particular interest in the importance of senior pet care and now offers nurse consultations to discuss ongoing care of senior citizens. She has a cat named Elvis, who came to the practice through the RSPCA with a fractured pelvis and a dog named Reda.
