Veterinary Surgeons

Michael Squires

Michael qualified in 1995 and has worked in the Sheffield area since 1996, predominantly for the PDSA. He bought Highfield Veterinary Centre in July 2009. His PDSA years have given him a wealth of experience, and he particularly enjoys orthopaedic surgery. He is married to Charlotte, a former PDSA head veterinary nurse with two young children, Esme and Oscar (see photo section). The family has two cats, Walter and Alfie. Walter was abandoned at the PDSA with a nasty leg injury (which eventually healed well in spite of Michael’s treatment). Michael enjoys the outdoors, especially rock climbing and skiing.
Veterinary Surgeons

Manuela Wight

Manuela hails from Berlin and has been with Highfields for over a decade, having commenced her career within the UK in Oxfordshire. She loves being a small animal GP and is interested in Internal Medicine. The nocturnal calling of her late, elderly feline companion, has been recently replaced by the demands of a baby. She enjoys life outside in "The Great Outdoors", particularly walking, running or skiing along with family and friends.
Veterinary Surgeons

Molly Graham

Local lass, Molly has been in practice for nearly five years, in Rotherham and Sheffield. She enjoys rescuing grumpy old dogs to live out their last few years in luxury. Her hobbies include house restoration/interior design and walking with her husband, Springer spaniel (Bracken) and the grumpy old dogs.
Veterinary Surgeons

Fiona MacNee

Fiona has been in practice for over twenty years now in various locations, including specialised work in emergency and critical care medicine. She enjoys walking and riding, and socialising in the local pub! She is married with 24 furry and feathered children.
